Sue-Lynn entered law school as a mature student after an 8 year career as a legal assistant in the areas of corporate finance and securities. She obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2001 and was called to the Bar in 2002 after articling with the firm.

Sue-Lynn provides services in respect of debt and equity financings, registration and protection of trademarks, executive employment and incentive contracts and various commercial arrangements including acquisition and sale of businesses, reorganizations, franchising and licensing.

Associations

Sue-Lynn is a Past President of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers where she was a board member for more than five years. She is an active member of Osgoode Hall's alumni including sitting on the Dean's Strategic Planning Committee, the Public Interest Committee and acting as a mentor to first year law students. Sue-Lynn is currently serving as a director of The John McIninch Foundation and is a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the Law Society of Upper Canada's Retention of Women in Private Practice Project. She is the Canadian representative for Lexnoir.org, an international web-based network for attorneys and communities of African descent and is also a member of the corporate law working group for Lexnoir. Sue-Lynn is a member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, Ontario Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
